Once setting the diagnosis and recommending Shockwave therapy, the Therapist Physician refers the patient to Regenerative Clinic TM for the appropriate method application. Always in close collaboration with Regenerative Clinic TM , the Therapist Physician is the one who decides which therapeutic protocol is to be applied for his patient. Once the therapeutic treatment is completed, the patient returns to the Therapist/Referring Physician for the follow-up and further treatment.

Upon the completion of Shockwave therapy, the patient is given a detailed report recording the type of Shockwave technological device used, the number and dates of therapeutic sessions, along with various technical parameters (energy intensity, frequency, number of shock waves etc). A copy of the therapeutic report is always sent to the patient’s Therapist Physician.

In Regenerative ClinicTM, the cornerstone of our philosophy is our close collaboration with Urologists. For every patient referred to us, we apply Shockwave therapy and the appropriate therapeutic protocol always following the written instructions and recommendations of the referring Therapist Physician.
Upon the completion of every patient’s Shockwave Therapy, a detailed report recording everything related to his therapy is sent electronically to his Therapist Physician. This close collaboration is highly imperative to achieve the optimal therapeutic outcome and benefit for all patients.

Dimitris Hatzichristou, MD, PhD, FECSM
Professor of Urology,
Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece  
Prof. Hatzichristou has associated his name with the development of Sexual Medicine for men and women in Europe. In 1995, he organized in Porto Karras, Halkidiki, the first Sexual Medicine conference, and founded the European Society of Sexual Medicine (ESSM), which he served for 15 years in various positions, including as ESSM President (2001-2004). During his tenure, he started the process for the establishment by the European Union of Sexual Medicine as a subspecialization and even successfully participated in the first certification exams (Fellow European Multidisciplinary Board Sexual Medicine title). He was a member for 10 years of the European Society of Urology Guidelines Committee. From 1995-2010 he focused his research on the treatments of Sexual Medicine and prostate diseases, while from 2010 until today his research group has been associated with the most important international publications on the applications of Regenerative Medicine in diseases of the genital system. Among them, he internationally systematized the therapeutic protocols for the use of shock waves and PRP. His career includes many honors and awards abroad. At the same time he teaches in Greece and abroad with more than 200 lectures/courses in the international arena. For his activities, he has also been honored repeatedly with teaching and research awards. With his continuous research and clinical presence, today he is considered the most experienced in Regenerative Medicine issues internationally in the field of Sexual Medicine.

Charalambos Georgiadis, MD
Obstetrician-Gynecologist
Mr. Georgiadis completed his MD studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He then practiced at the 3rd Gynecology Clinic of Aristotle University at the Hippocrates Hospital of Thessaloniki. After completing the specialty, he continued as a Clinical Research Associate for a number of years. In addition to his basic training, he continued to train in Gynecological Endoscopy and began his career in the private sector.  He is a member of several Scientific Societies and has participated in more than 200 conferences. Mr. Georgiadis is active in the Medical Association of Thessaloniki, where he served as an elected member of its Board of Directors with active participation in prevention and public information programs. Today he is an elected member of the Panhellenic Medical Association. Also in the private sector, he is an elected member of the Board of Directors of the “Genesis” Hospital in Thessaloniki. Beside being one of the most experienced obstetricians, Mr Georgiadis showed a special interest in cervical-vaginal-vulva diseases and he is certified by the Hellenic HPV Society. Mr. Georgiadis’ special interest in the treatment of genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), genital atrophy, cystitis, urinary tract infections, incontinence prompted him to get into Regenerative Medicine in Gynecology and to start his collaboration with Regenerative Clinic^TM.

Dimitris Kalyvianakis, MD, PhD, FECSM

Dr. Kalyvianakis completed his studies at the University of Crete and his specialty at the University Hospital of Heraklion (PEPAGNI). Then he moved to Thessaloniki in 2010, when he joined the 2nd Univeristy Department of Urology  (2010-2016) at Papageorgiou Hospital and began the preparation of his doctoral thesis under the mentorship of Prof. D. Hatzichristou. In 2016, he moved to the 2nd Univeristy Department of Urology as an Academic Fellow, where he has been serving until today. In 2014, following European exams, he obtained the specialization of a Sexual Medicine physician(title of Fellow of the European Board in Sexual Medicine of UEMS).He completed his PhD thesis in 2017 (cum laude). His thesis was about the development of therapeutic protocols in the treatment of erectile dysfunction with Regenerative Medicine methods. His involvement in research resulted in a series of publications in the most prestigious international journals that determined the use of shock waves and PRP internationally. For his research efforts, he has been awarded twice at international conferences. Mr. Kalyvianakis has been working with Regenerative Clinic™ since its foundation in 2018.

NURSING STAFF

Filimon Zelotis
Mr. Zelotis is a certified nurse. His clinical activity has been focused on Regenerative Medicine since 2017 as a member of the clinical research group of Prof. D. Hatzichristou, which is certified by his participation as a co-author in 6 publications in International medical journals. He also holds the Good Clinical Practice Certification. The publications he participated in are related to the use of shock waves and PRP in diseases of the genital system. Mr. Zelotis has been working with Regenerative ClinicTM since its establishment in 2018.

Alexandra Prodridou
Mrs. Prodromidou is a certified nurse. With 8 years of work experience in private medical centers, she contributes to the nursing care especially of the female patients of Regenerative Clinic^TM.
